App update broke ability to pair with P110's
A few weeks ago the Tapo app did an update which I always do. Then I lost the ability to access one P110 plug that controlled a lamp. So I reset the plug & attempted to set it back up. My phone detected & connected to the plug & I submitted my wifi login info which is correct. But then it sticks to pairing with the device. I tried this multiple times to no avail. I thought the plug must have gone faulty. More recently I did a reorganization of my office & removed a P110 plug used to power on a small tube heater that kept the office warm over winter. I still could turn this on & off no problems. But I needed to change the wifi login, so I reset the device by holding down the power button for 10 seconds as the instructions state. And the same problem is happening to this P110 also. So I bought a new one, in fact a pack of 4 from Amazon P110 & guess what, they refuse to pair, they stick to Pairing your tapo device & that's it.
So something has broken in the software update because its no longer allowing me to set up new & existing P110 plugs. And I know my wifi information is correct, I've checked & double checked it.
However, I have a P100 smart plug I removed from a working lamp in the living room, reset it & the setup was flawless. So the last update did something that broke the P110 plugs ability to set up with the app. So I now have 6 Tapo P110 plugs I'm unable to use.
The current app version on my phone is v 3.9.552.
I cant check the firmware on the P110's because I cant access them. Nor can I see any model Version printed on them. But they're sold in the UK.
Thanks
