Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello, this morning I purchased a TP-Link P110 from Amazon. But after plugging it in, the WiFi SSID is not appearing for some reason. The front LED is blinking red and green. I reset the WiFi by holding the button on the left side for five seconds, but it did not work. I then tried resetting the entire plug by holding the button for ten seconds, but still no success. I thought it might be an issue with my phone, I then attempted to detect the network on my PC, but it did not show up either. I don't use Amazon Alexa or Google assistant or anything like that. I do have five Tapo  Cameras, so I'm into the TP-Link smart-device ecosystem.

I asked for a replacement, and the product was exchanged right now. However, the new unit is exhibiting  the very same behavior. Could it be the case that the entire batch is faulty?

Ok, I got it working. I paired it using Bluetooth. For some reason, my WiFi SSID named let wifi=band_2_4GHz::connect(); wasn't visible. I had to manually enter the SSID and password, and it connected. It doesn't seem as seamless as the cameras.

The configuration method might vary from different models and hardware versions. Make sure to check the information on the package box to confirm the setup method before proceeding with the setup in the app.

More trouble suggestions: What should I do if I fail to configure the Tapo Smart Plug?
