Hi All,
For the Tapo C510W and TC41, we currently have plans to optimize the mechanism for saving video recordings on the SD card. An official firmware update with enhancements will be released in the future. Please pay attention to the Tapo app > Me > Firmware Update page for further updates.

Note: we do not have details about when the new firmware with enhancements will be released. Typically, you will be reminded on the Tapo app if new firmware is released to your camera.

Best Regards

Hi,
In your case, please go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Recording Schedule page, set Continuous Recording all day, then wait for the problem to happen and send us a video for analysis.
Best Regards

Thank you for the link.

I have now logged this and been assigned a ticket TKID250118583 for everyone's reference.

This ticket references the shortened length of recordings after firmware update to 1.3.1. which leads to missed events as the recording finishes prematurely and camera returns to its home position.

Regards,

AJ
