Hello,

I recently bought a RV30 Max Plus late November as a Christmas present. We've now begun to start using the hoover and mop, but keep experiencing various issues with the device without any clear reason. In no particular order, we keep getting the following:

  1. "Can not find the docking station" - Seems to be every second job when the robot attempts to return to the dock, it gets within a meter of docking, can't align itself to the charging plates and eventually fails and requires manual movement to the docking station (the docking station has NOT been moved). The only way I've found to fix this is by having to remap the entire floor to it "realigns" itself with the docking station. There is nothing obvious in the way of the station that would prevent it from returning.
  2. "Error that the wheel is stuck" - Numerous occasions now the robot complains that its wheel is stuck. I've checked for anything wrapped around the wheels (there isn't any blockages) and looked for external blockages which there aren't. If I press the "Play" button in the App without even touching the device it just seems to work again as if it was never blocked.
  3. "Main Brush is stuck" - Similarly to the "Error wheel is stuck" issue, there is nothing visibly blocking the brush internally or externally, I've removed the brush, checked for any blockages, and reseated as per the instructions. On some occasions it's still said there is a blockage and other times it's begun working again. In some cases, as above, I can just hit the "Play" button in the app without touching the device and the robot springs back into life as if nothing was wrong.

I'm at a loss with what I can do, when it works the performance of both the hoover and mop are excellent, but it's inconsistent and "erratic" behaviour is becoming quite frustrating to the point that I'm starting to think I may have a faulty unit and should look for a different make of hoover.

I'm hoping it's just me being inexperienced with smart hoovers and that these are all easy fixes. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what have you done to resolve these issues?

Thanks.
