Hi,

I recently got an RV30/RV30 Ma  Plus vacuum robot.

The pure vacuuming function works flawlessly.

However, when I fill the water tank and attach the mopping pad, the vacuum robot starts losing its orientation and wandering aimlessly after some time (see photos).

When I remove the mopping pad, everything works correctly again.

I can still return the item to Amazon until January 31, but of course, I’d like to do everything possible to fix the issue before then.

What can I do?

Best regards,

Nils Bödeker

Could you let us know if the areas where the vacuum cleaner's cleaning path becomes disordered are consistent? For example, are they specific areas like carpets, or when the robot vacuum moves between two different floor types?

Please record a video of this issue and send it to us for analysis. You may share the video link here or to me via private message.

@Wayne-TP

Hello,

A quick update.

The issue mainly occurs on a uniform surface.

It starts with the vacuum getting stuck in a corner of a room, then it begins spinning in circles and repeatedly crashing into walls at full speed.

However, there is one spot with an uneven floor, and occasionally the vacuum also gets stuck there (see attached image). This ist a corner.

Another observation: The issue seems to arise when the vacuum cleans the same area two or three times, possibly when the surface is already damp.

I will provide a video shortly.

Best regards,

Nils Bödeker

The cleaning path seems normal if the robot vacuum gets stucked.

If this happens in an open and level area, please observe whether the ground is too wet, which makes the vacuum slip. Try to make a video of this if that's the case. Or share a picture of that area after the cleaning.
