Energy monitor setup for Tapo P125M
The page below shows how one might setup energy monotring but on my app it shows "Vacuums", not "Life" like they show in the faqs. So how does one really set this up? The app asked me this morning if I wanted to start monitoring energy usage but when I left the app to go calcuate the charge rate of my electric supplier that setup was gone with no way to access it again.

That FAQ describes the usage of Tapo smart plug on the SmartThings app, not Tapo app. Which app do you plan to use?

@Wayne-TP I have nothing at all that mentions energy anywhere within the entire Tapo app:

The applicable models in the FAQ are not updated. Thank you for your feedback, I'll report it to the relevant team to check it.
The Tapo P125M is not advertised as supporting the energy monitoring feature on its product page on TP-Link official website. Did you see the advertisement on the website where you bought it? If that's the case, please share a link here.

@Wayne-TP Thank you for the reply! Like I stated in my original post above the app itself asked me out of the blue if I wanted to setup energy monitoring so I clicked on it but then when I left the app to calculate my current energy rate in COP and went back to the Tapo app that option to put in my rate and anything else about setting up energy monitoring was gone? Not sure how or why it started asking me to setup Energy Monitoring of the plugs are not capable of it?

Do you have a screenshot of that prompt? It seems like you've been using this plug for a while, so that message wasn't appeared right after the configuration, correct?
I'll report it to the product team to check and test it.
And again, just to clarify, Tapo P125M does not support the energy monitoring feature.
