C325WB different cloud and mem card recordings
Hi, could someone explain why cloud recording shows 27s person + 4s motion recording and memory card 1min 46s person + motion for same event?
I couldn't find any clip length settings like in C420.

Hi,
Typically, you can go to the Tapo app > C420's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Clips Settings page to set the Maximum Clip Length.
If the cloud detection video clips are shorter than the same event recordings stored on the SD card, would you please download the cloud video clip and the corresponding video clip stored on the SD card for comparison? You can store them on your cloud server(such as Google Drive) after downloading, generate a link to download the videos, and then send me the link via a private message.
By the way, in the vicinity of a cloud video clip, can you see another cloud video clip that records the same event?
Best Regards

@Solla-topee Hi, hope you received my PM?
Has anyone else noticed that SD card recording is 7-10 minutes too early compared to cloud recording, where the actual triggering happened? It still shows correct time in clip listing, but details embedded into video shows earlier time – without anything happening there. I have many examples, everything in LAN should be ok.

Hi,
I received your private message and replied to you on Nov 7 via PM.
1. For the short cloud video clips:
It may be the motion is not continuous so your cloud video clips are shorter than the video recordings stored on the SD card. Usually, if the object is not moving, the camera will stop recording and upload the video clip to the cloud server after a few seconds. However, the camera will wait for about 1 minute before stopping recording and storing the video recordings on the SD card, if there is motion again within 1 minute, the camera will continue recording.
2. For the new reported issue:
The videos you sent seem not to record the same event, so the time is different. On the Tapo app > camera's Live View > Playback & Download > Playback page, would you please send me the pictures of the timeline & detection thumbnail of the video clips you sent on the cloud and SD card page?
Best Regards
