Doorbell wont send notification to phone
Today I installed my new TP D230S1 doorbell. Everything works fine on my phone. But when I set it up on my girlfriend phone, she won't get any notifications when the doorbell is pressed.
I logged her out her account and logged in on my account with her phone (so now we have two Android phones, both logged in on my account) and nothing changes.
As far as i can see the only difference in settings is that under App Info > Manage Notifications > Catogories; I have 3 catogories (Verification, Doorbell and Miscellaneous) and she only has two (Verificarion and Doorbell).
Could this cause the issue? And if so, any ideas on how to get the Miscellaneous catogory on her phone? I've tried reinstalling the app but that did nothing.

Is the other phone not receiving any notifications at all? Not even when the app is open, such as ring notifications or detection notifications?
Is the account currently logged in an owner account? Check whether the device's notification is enabled under Tapo App -> Me -> Notifications -> Device Notifications - Management.

Thanks for the reply. I checked, and all device notification is enabled in the app too. Also, her phone is currently logged in on my account (both our phones are logged in on my account).
She is not receiving any notifications whether the app is opened or not. No bell alerts, no detection notification, nothing.
I am running the app on my OnePlus 8T with Android 14, she is running the app on her Oneplus 11 with Android 14. I've tried reinstalling the app, but no dice. Again, the only difference i can spot between our phones in regards to the Tapo app is the fact that she only has two categories in Android notification settings menu for the app, and I somehow have three (the Miscellaneous categorie is not present on her phone, it is on mine)
Any ideas would be much appreciated!

How about the in-app notification? (App homepage -> Upper right corner -> Message.) Try to delete and reinstall the App.
Typically, as long as the app's notification permissions are enabled, you should receive push notifications. There is no strict correlation with miscellaneous notifications; the presence of this option depends on the phone manufacturer, meaning that some models may have it while others may not. For more specific information, you can reach out to your phone's support team.
