Kasa KP303 power bars - offline - Monday 2024-07-29 - 2 separate locations
2 KP303 power bars at 2 different locations (different wi-fi, different internet providers)
Computers attached to the KP303s are still running and are available for remote login
and the internet is functioning normally for both sites.
Kasa app reports both power bars offline.
Reboot phone - no change.
Tried cell data vs wifi for phone - no change.
If this affected just one site, I would suspect local wi-fi, but
it has happened at 2 separate sites with different provders.
Is there a desktop app or web browser interface for Kasa?
After looking for 1/2 hour, cannot find one.
Is Kasa having technical difficulties today? (2024-07-29)

Hello everyone,
Many thanks for your feedback. There was a cloud server fluctuation and the service was restored at 6:30 PM July 30, 2024 GMT+8 ( 3:30 AM Jul 30 PDT).
The smart devices should return to normal automatically. You may try to reload or force close and reopen the App.

@RtsLtd I think I am having similar issue like yours. I have one KP303, and two HS103. The KP303 went offline this morning (also 07/29/2024), no issue with HS103. I tried to reset it and reconnect. It appears "OK" when my phone remains on the same wifi for IoT, but once I switch my phone wifi to another one or simply use data, KP303 will be offline. All smart functions (mainly auto-off timer) do not work anymore: at the right time, it will attempt to turn off the corresponding plug, but fail and log an error in the History. Remote control still works to turn it on/off, provided that my phone IP address is in the same subnet as the KP303.
Is this a widespread issue with KP303?

@RtsLtd My KP303 is offline as well but the device connected to it is operational.
I also have some Smart Actions on 2 different HS300's that have stopped working this morning (7/29/24).
I am still able to control the devices and the timers that are set are working.
A 3rd HS300 indicates that it is online at the unit but offline in the app.

Still offline this evening.
Had someone on-site cycle power to the KP303 this
afternoon in hope that it would reconnect to wifi
(or something) but no change.
Suggests to me that the problem is with Kasa passing
communication between the app and the KP303.
It will be a week or so before I can get to the sites
for some hands-on troubleshooting.
First time I've ever had trouble with this product.

@RtsLtd I noticed the same issues with my KP300, KP303 and three HS107, the device connected to these plug works but unable to control from mobile app when connected to different wifi/cellular connection. when connected to same wifi, the plugs were able to control from the app.
The other smart plug HS105, bulbs are all fine as usual with no issues. Looks the issue is just related to KP300, KP303 and HS 107.

@RtsLtd If I log into my account with an old iphone SE ios version 15.8 KASA version 3.3.701 my KP303 is online.
7/30/24 6:29 am my KP303 is back online in my Android version 14 KASA version 3.3.700.
