Hi

I have this issue, after i upgraded the latest version of firmware, the camera mic is not that loud thats why i need to put in max volume,  and sounds like static.

Hi All,
We are trying to improve the sound quality of the Tapo C500 and have a beta firmware for a try. You can send me(@Solla-topee) the "Forum ID 674464+MAC address of the camera" via a private message if you want to try the new firmware.

We do not have the information on when the new official firmware will be released to solve the issue, but I'll keep logging the feedback and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.

 

Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the
Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!

Hi, just bought the C500 today installed and set up. Updated firmware as requested and the mic volume is very low despite the mic volume set at recommended level or full and the phone is also set at full.

 

Will you be sending a firmware update to resolve the issue as the previous person.

The firmware is sent to your camera, you can update it via the Tapo app and check if it helps.

Hi, I have the same problem on video recording, the sound makes incomprehensible noises and the sound of the conversation is not heard properly, please tell me if this problem is being solved? and will there be an update in the future to fix this problem?

  @Solla-topee Could i get the firmware update please as i have the same issue, i only just bought it today and nearly sent it back as i thought it was broken.
