Tapo P100 "Operation failed" when adding scheduled event
Tapo P100 "Operation failed" when adding scheduled event
I added over 20 scheduled events for 2 Tapo P100 plugs which I got this morning using the app.
Now every time I try to add another scheduled event for any day & time, I get "Operation failed. Please try again later"
Why is this happening? I should be able to add as many scheduled events as I like to either plug without seeing this error message.
If it's a bug it makes these P100 plugs unusable for me & they will have to be returned as not suitable for use with heavy schedules.

The device is limited to just 20 events... which sucks (Tp-link people: please do something about this!!!).
But apart from that, I also had this issue when I first set up my T100 and tried to schedule my very first event: Operation Failed! The solution there was very simple: force stop the Android app and then start the app again.
Hope that works for any of you too!

@deafuser I've had the dame exact problem but just reset to factory settings and all ok now: delete the device from Tapo App, hold the switch button of the plug for 5 sec and set the plug on the app again. If the app asks you this device has already been confiigured just ignore it and set it as new.
