HS110 not reporting Power Data since firmware update
I moved this HS110 from switching and power monitoring one device to another. During the process of moving from one device to another I had to remove the HS110 from the Kasa app to change WiFi access points (different SSID). During the transition I updated the firmware. Since doing this the HS110 is not reporting any energy consumption.

Hi,
Chang another outlet to plug the HS110 and use another device for a while to test the energy monitoring feature.
If still the same, please contact our tech support to check the warranty.
Good day.

Since this thread is about a smilar issue, adding mine here.
Model: HS110
Hardware Version: V2.1
Firmware Version: 1.5.7
Less than 2 months and barely used. Turned it on after a while and energy monitoring shows 0.00W while plugged into a PC which used to show around 100W on the same smart plug before.
Did a reset twice, re-installed the android app, but same screen. Primary purpose for me is energy monitoring. Can anyone advise if this a firmware issue or its faulty.

I would update your firmware, but if it is still a problem then it is faulty.

Hi,
Try to update the firmware or hard reset it and reconfigure it.
Change another appliance plugged into it.
Try to power cycle it as well.
If still the same, please contact our tech support to check the warranty.
Good day.

Hello, try to change another appliance to plug into the HS110. And try to change another wall socket.
Besides, try to hard reset the smart plug and reconfigure to verify whether it works.
Still the same, please tell us the mac address of this HS110.
Good day.

Same problem here. I have 5 of these plugs and already 2 are no longer reporting power usage. They're all on the same firmware version (1.5.5). Also, none of them have ever worked properly with tp-link's own mesh wifi (deco m5) as they continually disconnect and reconnect. And I bought the mesh wifi because one of the plugs was too far for the normal wifi. I'm just moving to alternative products (I have a Xiaomi plug that works perfectly).

Hello, could you please show us the screenshots of the power consumption page on the kasa app of the HS110?
What is the model number of the appliance plugged into the HS110? Considering the other three work well, you can swap the appliance to do a comparison analysis.
Besides, for the unstable connection, you can disable fast roaming to give it a go.
May it help.

hello
What is the current hardware and firmware version of the HS110?

@Kevin_Z
I also recently bought two HS110. One is working Ok but the second doesn't show Power Data.
Hardware-Version: 4.0
Firmware-Version 1.0.4
I already resetted and reconnected it. But still the same. I can switch power via Kasa App but when I go to "Energieverbrauch/Energy Usage" I see a gray Message "Etwas ist schiefgegangen/Something went wrong" and everything except Total consumtion (0,00 kWh) and Runtime shows emty values "-.--".
Is there anything else I can do or do I have to send it back?
Greetings Frank
