I have factory reset the device twice now. The app tells me that the wifi password is wrong. I have also changed the wifi password and the name of the wifi network to no avail. It still says the password is incorrect. I have tried using a guest network, but I had the same problem.

Double-check the wifi password by reconnecting this WiFi on your phone: delete the connected WiFi profile, and reconnect to it by manually entering a passwordHow to remove existing wireless network profile on Android&iPhone

 

Any special character in the WiFi name or password? Try to use numbers and letters only. 

 

Don't use auto-fill, manually enter the password instead.
