I have two Tapo C410 and one of them only activates when the app is open.
This issue started a few weeks ago, I've made a reset to the camera and still does the same.
When the app is open I receive the notification and I can check the motion detecter working, but when the app is closed the camera doesnt have the green light on, it's like it's off.

Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.
1. On the camera's Device Settings >Battery Status > Working Mode page, which mode is selected?
2. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection > Wake-up Sensitivity page, what's the sensitivity value?
3. Where did you install the camera? How high is the camera installed?

Thanks for the reply @Solla-topee, answering to your questions the battery mode is on balanced, the sensitivity is on level 10 and is installed 2.5M from the ground.

Thank you for the information provided.
Please log in to the Tapo app > camera's Live View page, then try to record a video manually on the live view page showing the event/person that can't activate the camera to work when the app is closed. Then send us the video for analysis.
And send us a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page.
