Hi,
Currently, we do not have a Tapo camera that supports standard PoE. Below are the instructions to power a wired Tapo camera via passive PoE.
How to Power Tapo Wired Camera with PoE
Note:
1. The TP-Link PoE Splitter POE10R is an indoor device and is not recommended for use outdoors.
2. You need to buy a power cord to connect the PoE Splitter and camera.

Hello @ngumbahi ,
When choosing the best CCTV system, consider your specific needs, budget, and environment.
For general use, dome cameras are ideal due to their discreet design and wide field of view, suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas. Bullet cameras work well for long-distance monitoring, especially around perimeters.
If you need flexibility, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras allow you to cover large spaces and zoom in on details. For high-resolution footage, particularly in low light, IP cameras are a great option, offering excellent image quality and remote access.
Combining these types based on your situation will give you the best results. It's a good idea to consult a professional to help determine the most suitable system for your needs!
