Firmware issue with Tapo P100 - No smart actions allowed
Hi,
I bought two Tapo P100 smart plug.
Just now I noticed that exists two different hardware release for this product: 1.0 and 1.2.
I've got both releases.
I added P100 ver 1.0 to the smart actions without any issue.
I tried to add also the other P100 ver 1.2, but I cannot do this action. When I'm trying to add new task within the smart action, this device is reported in grey and is present the message: Supported firmware is coming.
During the installation, firmware has not updated for this device, remaining 1.2.0 Build 20200420 Rel. 28087.
The other P100, the working one, has been updated during the installation with the firmware 1.3.3 Build 20200811 Rel. 52097.
Please, could you explain this strange behaviour?
Device is working fine, except for this feature. But I think that it's important for better smart home integration.
Please, could you say me if you will provide the right firmware also for this device? Or I've to back to the seller asking for changing with 1.0? (since the major release of the same product has got less feature available respect to the old one)
Thanks,
Gaetano
