the Device has been adopted to the controller and is on firmware version 3.20.5 Build 20250117 Rel.60471
for some reason the site is stuck on the option to use easy managed switches and cant be changed from that, is this a bug in the firmware?

I am confused. Doesn't this guide tell you where you should change it? Not from the site. From the Global View. It's different. Do you follow it?

I followed the instructions correctly, the screenshot is of the site accessed from the global view page, clicked on edit as per instructions, but the "easy managed" and "Smart / L2+ / L3" option ticks are unselectable and cannot be changed. i want to de-select the easy managed option as it is not applicable, and preventing specific settings on the switch profile and LAN options.
I believe the firmware does not support it.
If you mean once you selected it, you cannot de-select it. Yes, that's the case. You need to delete the site and create a new one.
You might submit this to the controller site for an investigation. I assume it involves some codes which may break the site. So, it limits this.
