  @Clive_A

Trying to get my new ES205GP v1.0 Adopted onto my site and am getting the error "The switch does not match the Switch Type configured for the site.".  I have updated my OC200 to the latest non-beta firmware and my ER605 V2 router is also up to date, but I do not see the check box for Easy Managed or Smart / L2+ /L3

Self Resolved. Updated Firmware on ER605. Was odd that I didn't see the option to update firmware from the web browser, but it gave me the option to upgrade from the phone app.

  @Clive_A

No success here.

I have two sites with this problem.

ER7212PC v1.0 firmware 1.3.1 Build 20250220 Rel.67749; ES205GP v1.0 sw 1.0.1

I cannot find an option to choose the kind of switches to be adopted.

It is not the same thing.

Omada (Pro) Switch Naming Format

Get me a picture of the printed box? Does it have anything printed about the Omada?

I wonder if you are not getting the Omada switch. Very early switch is not Omada compatible. Photo of the label.

  @MJ911

i am unable to change the switch types on the app or on the web UI.

the site has an OC200 controller (v1) and an ER605 V2.0 with multiple EAP225, EAP610, and EAP110 units installed along with a EAP215 bridge kit (v1) and EAP211 bridge kit (V2)

Upgrade to the proper firmware.

Follow the guide about the adoption and discovery.

Understand the switch type and this is not a easy smart switch which may not support Omada.

It is not a problem with the switch type. Create a new thread regarding your issue if you still have any questions.
