Hello,

I have a Tapo C210(EU) v2 P/N:1770500144 camera which came with FW 1.3.11 Build 240427 Rel.6148n(4555), but after a failed upgrade, is now bricked.

I wish I could try the firmware upgrade manual procedure via SDCard, but it has been impossible for me (and, based on the replies I received wherever I asked, not only for me) to find the proper file, since download.tplinkcloud.com is not indexed and, unless one has the exact url, no file can be downloaded.

I've logged 2 requests to my local TPLink technical support (support.it@tp-link.com) asking for a link to a working firmware (it'd be perfect for me to restore the previous one), but after one week I haven't received any reply yet, not even a sign of someone seeing my emails and taking in charge my request, or at least an auto-reply!

Is there any chance to get a response from TP-Link?

Thanks

Hi,
If your camera gets bricked and has no response when you press the reset button for 10 seconds, you can try the below steps:
  1) Ensure the internet is stable and the router has a strong signal.
  2) Power off the camera.
  3) Move the camera closer to the router and power on the camera.
  4) Wait for around 10 minutes, and check if the camera will recover.

If the steps do not help, you can contact your retailer or the local team to check if the camera is under warranty.

Best Regards
