Connecting 2 routers via wireless
I am replacing the old AX3000 with a new AXE75.
What I am wanting to do is have the AXE75 be the primary router, with the AX3000 in another room and connect the 2 routers via wirelss, NOT wired since there is not an Ethernet connection in either room and use the same network address space.
The reason for putting it in another room is that I have a couple of Ethernet (not wireless) printers that I would like to connect to it.
I don't want to make the AX3000 an Access Point because it is 1/2 the speed of the AXE75, and I don't want computers connecting to it due to the speed issue.
I just looked at the settings for the AX3000 and it appears that it can only act as an Access Point if it is hardwired into the AXE75, so the Access Point is not an option.
Is this possible?
If so, what is the process of doing this?
Thanks,
Eric
