I have a question?
Why does TP-Link use BE11000 vs. the product name?
Is the BE11000 the BE65 or BE65 Pro?
How come when one goes to the D/L center, entering BE65 does not find the BE65 but does find the PRO version:
Entering BE11000 does find it though:
Even then, the result f/w page sort of doesn't make sense for V2.0:
If you can't call out the BE65.specifically, then why not call the BE63 which it seems is also a BE10000 that way too?
Bottom line to me, what MODEL NAME is BE11000 for?
Has there been a change in naming products?
Seems that BESTBUY still uses the model name and speed, see https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-link-deco-be65-pro-be11000-whole-home-tri-band-wi-fi-7-mesh-router-system-with-two-5-gig-ports-3-pack-white/6578378.p?skuId=6578378 and that is for the Pro model?

When the file is d/l'ed, it states BE65, would be cleared if that Deco name were used in the description and D/L center.

Hey @IrvSp
Thanks for pointing this out. To clarify, the "Deco BE11000" is the model number or product name in this case—for a Costco model.
The Deco BE11000's current hardware version is V2.60 (V2.6), which falls under the "V2/V2.6" to which this pre-release firmware is applicable.
In some cases, pre-release firmware may not be region-specific, so there may be times when this type of firmware may apply to models available both in and outside of the US.
In this case, this topic aimed to bring attention to the US-specific models to which this pre-release firmware applies.
For reference, we do not have the Deco BE65 V2/V2.6 in the US. However, from what I can tell, this pre-release firmware may be applicable for the Deco BE65 V2/V2.6 in regions where that model and hardware version are available.
I hope this helps clear things up. Sorry for any confusion.

Well, some BE65 are in the US. I've seen other messages in this forum for BE65. I do know BE65 was sold in Europe though.
You also it seems changed the SUBJECT on this one, https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/794554 which I found Searching this forum for BE65, although it appears to be this open. Also a few others (another on mine) and I do have the BOX and both BE11000 and BE65 (V2) is on it.
So, can I assume you've checked and THIS Pre-Release is OK for me to use?

I'm not sure how that happened—my apologies.
Our main goal was to focus on the models and hardware versions currently available to our US users. I just updated both the post and the subject to reflect those available models specifically.
I'll ask our teams if your BE65 V2 is a candidate for this pre-release. Thanks for your patience!

I just checked the local CostCo store (wife says 'we are going there today') and the Deco IS available there, I'll check the box.
I did take pictures of my box, so these are the ones I took, and they should indicate why I am confused in which I have, a BE11000 or BE65:
It shows BOTH on the front.
Side of the box shows both, AND what it can connect with to control the Deco's, BUT I can not discover how on the web GUI or Deco App to do it? I think I did Google how and recall one needs to enable on the Echo's a task, but I really didn't care to do that, but it seems the box says it could be done, just no instructions are available (or I have not found it?)?
Now the sticker on the bottom of the box makes it pretty clear to me what I have, the Model is BE65 and version is 2.0.
I am going to see what a box at CostCo looks like?

Either I am hallucinating or the SUBJECT changed back ffrom BE65/* to BE11000/*. Why was it changed back?
Is it not good for the BE65 V2.0?

Do you know what that link's FILENAME is?
This just adds to the confusion, doesn't match the title here.
File inside the ZIP file is "03/28/2025 05:20 AM 48,372,701 BE65_BE63_BE11000_BE9300_v2_SP1_V2-up-ver1-1-7-P1[20250324-rel32980]_2025-03-24_17.55.24.bin"

To be honest, from what I've seen, some of the filenames can get pretty wild, haha. Part of the reason for that—when it comes to these pre-release firmware files—is because over the past couple of years, the Deco firmware process has become more of a platform-wide approach. In some cases, pre-release firmware can support a wider sweep of models, like this one does. That said, our community team does our best to focus on the US-specific models, so we may not always specifically highlight some of the models contained in the filename.
Thanks for confirming your BE65 V2 loaded up the firmware fine. I did get confirmation from our engineers that your BE65 V2 is compatible with this pre-release, though you kinda already found that out. 😄
Keep me posted on what you find at your local Costco. 👍
P.S. Yes, I did edit the subject to refocus on models currently available in the US - you're not going crazy. I'm right there with you feeling like I'm going crazy trying to keep track of these edits. 😆
