@Zem correct, no updates = no even moderate security at all, they can infect your router with botnet virus that attacks targets or hack and change your dns to make money for someone with ads and so...

@0x0mehrab EU firmware will lower your TX power to CE mode for Europe istead of FCC mode for US which is more powerfull on signal output, not recommended :)

@Nek_2024 in most cases you need to contact your ISP provider and tell them you want to change your router, they will assist you

Probably different wavelength on sfp+ module, but everything is good at the end :)
