@Toots27 My Tapo cam supports privacy mode on/off, do you want to control this mode via the Google Assistant app? I know the cam does not support power on/off via the Tapo app.

@GazUpNorth Tapo camera has privacy mode and can be scheduled on/off via the smart action>automation feature, maybe this can help in your situation.

@MHG_82 Maybe you can try a factory reset and reconfigure the camera if the camera's firmware is up to date.
