I think the most obvious difference is that Tapo C325WB V2 supports powered by ethernet cable (802.3 af/at PoE technology).

@Verrips hi, maybe you can mount the camera on the top of the point where the power cable comes out of the wall, then rotate the angle of the camera and floodlight to monitor the area you want.

@joaoap it seems the limitation is on Amazon Alexa rather than from tplink...

@sakamotoyuki different versions of Tapo app have different requirements for phone's OS versions, maybe your device's OS is too old and can't work well with the new app. Trying the old app version...
