Hi,

I've had the TC82 for almost 4 months and the detection zones have never been applied correctly since I set them up.

I have them set to only notify me if anything enters the line of our gated entrance.

However, any time a vehicle passes on the road outside our gate a notification is sent which has become more frustrating as time has gone on.

I've tried to reset the detection zone line several times hoping that it would begin applying correctly but it never does.

I've rebooted the camera and this has not fixed the issue either.

 

Any help that could be provided here would be appreciated.

Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the detection feature does not work well.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
 

Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.
  1. Please check the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.


  2. Can you send us a video showing the reported issue? Do you receive a Person/Motion/Vehicle-detected notification for the corresponding video?
Note: you can upload the video to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate a link to download it, and send me(@Solla-topee) the link via a private message.
