Massive battery drain TC82 camera.
Camera went from working perfectly, to dropping from 30 percent battery to 5 percent in the space of 24 hour or so.
Since recharging it has dropped an average of 10 percent per day.
Was installed in October and was perfect until a few days ago.
It now doesn't detect anyone either. I can be walking in front of it and it won't notify me of an event and has not recorded an event either.
Looking for assistance as it is just over 2 months old.

@GumperP hi same is happening with mine. Only been the last 2 weeks too. No idea what's causing it as it has the same settings as other outdoor camera. Solar panel is definitely not charging it.

@ClareM I took mine down today to reset it, see if it would help.
Seems to have made it worse as now it won't connect to any WiFi network.
I'm waiting on a WiFi booster for a different part of the house so I can check and see if it is a signal issue. I don't believe it to be so though, as it worked for 2.5 months without any issues at all.
Unfortunately I think it is broken. And outside of the refund period on Amazon too. Figures...

What error did you receive when configuring the camera? Try to enable a hotspot WiFi with another phone and connect the camera to it, or create a 2.4GHz guest WiFi for the camera.

I have now added a WiFi extender to my garage, which is practically right next to the main connection itself.
The connection seems a little better. However it refuses to notify or pick up any movement.
It was working perfectly until the major battery drain and now it just won't report anything. I am not impressed when it is barely 2.5 months old.
I have tried with and without detection zones.
I've tried the detection test, nothing. I could camp in front of it and it wouldn't detect it.

I have run further tests.
It has been sat doing nothing for 40 mins and has dropped 5 percent battery already.
If I run the detection range test. It will alert when the test is first enabled. But no more, ending the test doesn't give any notifications.
If I set up a detection zone it will give an alert about a detection, and then when actually outside in it's zones it reports absolutely nothing.
Walking in front of it, waving, does nothing.
If I go to live view it correctly tags me as a person, it does not notify me though.
