Recording clips are not complete

Hi,
My motion sensivity is on 10, but the recording clips start with the person already entering through the door.
Its very weird because I had the cheap TD21 in this place and it was starting with recording of people coming from out. Which is how it shoukd be.
I have the same setting for this one, such as detection areas. This camera has even more ground space, because I installed the back frame that point the camera more to the floor.
I do not understand, I hope that its not simply worst then the other cheap.
Any help please?
Best regards

Are both doorbell hardwired? Check whether the Always-On mode is enabled on the D235 doorbell.
The doorbell will still consider itself powered by the battery if the always-on mode isn't enabled. The doorbell is in sleep mode most of the time to save battery, detection and recording won't start until the doorbell is awake.
On the contrary, the doorbell standbys all the time when the always-on mode is enabled, it can detect movement and start recording faster.

Hi,
Yes all of them are at 10. Max. Which one do you have?
The TD21 was showing recordings from further back. But this new one not, its like you say, when the person is inside the zone, and still late, like when the person is already near door. Feels like the software is weak, and not programmed well. If the Ai is weak, still if it was programmed to show recording from the sensor triggering time instead of detecting would solve the software weakness. Maybe it doesnt even record until something until something is detected in a zone, and TD21 was recording when every motion was detected and later deleting when no one entered the zone.
They are not explaining this or helping, so I guess I will return it and buy a Td21

Hi @Hassan47, I have a D230 (Doorbell) and it works very well and detects and starts recording from a long distance. Note that the device you have lised in the post is a Doorbell so I hope you have placed it as per the guides.
Anyway, I'll let the Tapo experts provide some further advice, (suggest you wait for them to provide via this thread). @Wayne-TP @Solla-topee

Thanks for the info, it is in the same place as the previuos doorbell. Anyway I dont think that should be the problem. It would be if I like placed it on the second floor. It is correctly installed.
Thanks

The doorbell is battery powered. The issue is still there...
Please provide some videos to us, as well as the detection videos of the TD21. You may upload the videos to personal cloud drive or YouTube, then send the link in the comment section or to me through a private message.
