Hello,

Completely no idea in general. So help please.

I have just reached one year of my cameras and have realised my clips that are over 12 months old are auto deleting. I have searched in and out of settings, community posts and I can not find any setting to stop this. Details for purchasing cloud didn't mention this as a perk but isn't entirely clear about perks either (at least to me).

I have a hub running only cameras, with an SD card that has over 30% memory available on the card. It isn't full or over riding and seems to be purely based on time lapse.

I'd really like to stop this happening an at least one of my cameras, and have already lost a month of clips I thought I could come back to before I noticed.

Thank you for any help!

Hi,
Typically, the camera's detection video clips can be stored on our cloud server for up to 7 days if you have subscribed to the Tapo Care Basic plan. If you have subscribed to the Tapo Care Premium plan, the detection video clips can be stored on our cloud server for up to 30 days.

If you have inserted an SD card into the camera or hub to store the camera video recordings, with the Loop Recording feature enabled, the new recordings will overwrite the old recordings until the SD card is full. Otherwise, the video recordings will be always stored on the SD card.

What's the model number of your camera? How do you judge the video clips that over 12 months are auto deleted? Are the video clips stored on the SD card inserted into a Tapo hub?

Best Regards
