Hello

 

Need some advice on my new outdoor camera that I've just set up and shared with my partner please.  It's regarding notifications on her device.

 

She isn't getting any.  And I've tried everything I can think of. But a lot of icons are greyed out.

 

Surely we should both be able to get notifications when there's movement detected?

Hi Solla Thank you for you help. It’s now sorted. I turned on the time sensitive icon on my partners phone and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks again

Hi,
Usually, you can see the detection notification on both phones logged in with the owner account and the shared account. Please confirm the following information about the reported issue.
  1. When the camera detects an event, can you receive the notification on your phone?


  2. On your partner's phone, please go to the Tapo app > Home tab > Bell icon > your camera page, and check if you can see the detection notification. If so, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot.
Why can’t I receive notifications after turning on Notifications?
