Hi,

Please confirm the following details about the reported issue:

1. The model number of your Wi-Fi router and your network topology

I have an ASUS Mesh Wi-Fi network with an AX5400 TUF main router and four mesh nodes.

2. RSSI value of the camera when it is working

The RSSI value ranges between 58 and 62.

3. LED status on the camera when it goes offline

The LED light is orange.

4. Frequency of the issue

The issue happens every day.

5. How do you recover the connection?

By being on the same network as the cameras and triggering them to record via motion detection.

Details about the issue:

Every day, while I am at work or outside my network, my two C410 cameras (V1.0) with firmware version 1.0.23 show as offline in the Tapo app.

When I return home, I notice that the cameras have an orange LED light. If I wave my hand or trigger the cameras to record via motion detection, they reconnect and appear back online in the app.

While I am away and the cameras are offline in the app, they still appear as connected to my Wi-Fi network when I check them on the router. I have also forced them to bind to the closest mesh node to prevent them from switching between nodes.

Additionally, I have another C410 camera (V1.20) with firmware version 1.0.30, and it does not experience this issue at all. The problem seems specific to the V1.0 cameras. I have another Tapo camera, C510W and it does not experience this issue either.

Steps I took before writing here:

• Restarted the camera.

• Changed and forced the Wi-Fi channel to 2 and set the bandwidth to 20 MHz, as recommended in the Tapo tutorial/support guidelines.

• Switched to Google DNS: primary 8.8.8.8, backup 8.8.4.4.

• Configured a static IP address for the camera in the router.

Let me know if you need any further details!

Re:C410 goes Offline
Yesterday

@Solla-topee I have the same problem with 3 c410 cameras that have worked for months without problems. But after the latest update they all disconnect and have not come online since and won't even connect after reset. I have two other cams from Tapo c210 that still work without problems. So the problem is obviously the latest firmware update that destroyed the cameras when does Tapo correct this update? And how do I get that correcting update on the cameras when they can't get online?

@Anistou I have the same problem. Two brand new C410 in my vacation house. HW version 1.0, Firmware 1.0.23 Build 241119 Rel.59219n

Both going offline quite soon after I leave the house. House is far away, so I cant just go to reset cameras.

@HakonOlav I tried to reset my X60 Deco router, and the C410 cameras turn online in the Deco app, but without any up or down speeds.

In the Tapo app they remain offline.
