Issue with C410 camera
Issue with C410 camera
Hi,
I've just bought 3 C410 KIT but it seems that one camera has some issues with the battery.
The solar panel is well exposed, but since last saturday I always see 100% of battery on the app. It never shows the charging process (the lightning icon) and it never goes down the 100%, but it's still working and recording. I tried to connect with a USB adapter, same result, no charging icon.
Now I've disconnected from the panel just to see if the battery level decreases below the 100%.
The other two camera are working as this one but I can see the charging icon during the day and when the sun goes down only the battery level.
Does this issue look familiar? I've bought on Amazon so I can send it back, but I want to be sure.
Thanks,

I just received an email from support trying to tell me there's nothing wrong. Maybe they don't understand.
It's as simple as this, two kits both Tp link panel and camera.
One kit worked for a week, in the app it showed panel as connected, displayed solar charging data and worked as intended.
Second kit never recognised the panel being connected in the app, battery status always at 100%
Now both my kits are displaying solar panel not connected, and show no charging data with battery status at 100%
We have a pattern of three people trying to explain this to you and we all want to know, is this a software or hardware issue, do we have faulty panels or cameras or is this a software bug in the app.
Because one of my kits did work properly for a week I have data in my app for the solar charging, so I do not accept that this is a "working as intended, operator error" situation.

You may try to disconnect the solar panel for a day or two, see if the camera battery level drops. *If the camera is barely used/triggered, keep the solar panel unplugged for a longer time.
The charging status will not display if the camera's battery level is at 100%. If the camera's power consumption is significantly lower than the solar panel's input, it is normal for the battery level to remain at 100%.
