I have 10 Tapo P110 smart plugs in my home to monitor the energy usage of various items. The Tapo app is great, but it lacks an important feature which I have seen requested by others, even pushed to a thread where you could comment to vote and the thread is now locked and nobody can vote, so I am just reviving this.

It would be great to be able to view the energy usage of ALL P110 plugs in an environment, or to be able to set groups and view the total consumption of all plugs within the group.

It would be even better if you could view the total consumption between specific times of the day in kilowatt-hours.

My home is priced for electricity differently during the day vs. night. Daytime electricity costs €X and at night it costs €Y - being able to just see the total for the whole group would be already extremely helpful in itself, as opposed to viewing each plug individually, but if on top of that we could also see the total usage of the group between specific hours, it would be even greater.

I do not believe this would cost much to implement nor take a lot of time - obviously I am unfamiliar with the source code for all this, but if we simply had a button to loop through each Tapo item in an environment, find each item of type P110 and any other smart plug which monitors energy usage, fetch the total usage for the last day, 7 days, 1 month, whatever, add it to a total, repeate for each plug in the list and display the results.

We can already view the exact usage per day, even the usge in terms of Watts at specific times of the day via the chart, so surely this must be possible also, total up the usage between hour X and hour Y, log the total and repeat for each day on record.

This would be an extremely useful feature in my opinion and as I said, I have seen others request it too, but it has never lead anywhere so far. It would allow me to keep track of what my electric bill will cost for the items connected to the smart plugs.

Please consider this feature for implementation, I know it would be well appreciated by everyone! I can understand if the specific times' monitoring is too much, but at least the total consumption of groups of/all plugs' usage monitoring would be trivial enough.

P.S.: If there is any sort of API available to the users, I have not yet found it - could I be pointed in the right direction? I will implement the feature for myself if I can if Tapo is unwilling/unable.

Also, I have no idea what the hardware version is, it isn't stated anywhere that I can see, so I selected V1 for this post as it was required. Only version on the box is "Ver: 1.20" but that isn't an option on the list.
