Hello, Can someone explain to me briefly how to set the temperature offset correctly?

At the moment I have done it as follows.

My thermometer is inside the room and it shows 20 degrees.

The KE100 shows a room temperature of 22 degrees.

This means that 22 degrees are measured directly on the thermostat.

That means I have an offset of 2 degrees.

I have now set a temperature deviation of -2 degrees under Settings / Temperature correction of the KE100 in the app.

The KE100 now shows a room temperature of 20 degrees.

Is that correct or have I done something wrong?

Many thanks

Michael

The temperature offset feature is used in such cases. As the temperature detected by the KE100 may differ from the actual room temperature due to many factors, like its installation location, room size, etc. In this case, the offset function can be used to correct the temperature.
