I bought HS220 single pack and HS220P3 (3-pack), then realize they are actually different.  HS220 single pack switch is actually thinner compared to the HS220P3 switch.  However, HS220 (V 3.0) supports custom icon photo, but HS220P3 switch (V3.20) acutally does not (no such option when click into the setting, it only has the standard 12 icons to choose from).  I am quite disappointed about lacking the custom icon feature,  Is there any way that I can make the HS220P3 switch support that?

HS220 hardware version V3.20 does not support custom device icons. This feature cannot be supported through firmware update. 

 

If this feature is necessary for you, we recommend contacting the retailer to ask if it is possible to exchange it. Or return it and buy a new one. Be sure to confirm the product version with the seller before buying.

  @tubbychubby99 I sympathize with you. This is such a disappointment. What a silly thing to have tied to the device and not the app. Now I have to take these things out of the wall and send them back. What an absolute silly feature to remove. I had loved my Kasa experience up until now.
