@DBO  So here's the kicker I was on the phone with IT for TP link for over an hour and 40 minutes today and when he couldn't figure it out all of a sudden he left the chat not a word to be said after or to help me I think this is very unprofessional of TP Link technical support

I have been in touch with Google and what they're telling me it's the firmware it's not compatible with Google Home so you'll have to upgrade your firmware but I can't update it even with the tool kit that they sent me very very disappointed and I hope that someone from

I am having the same issue , bought HS210 Kit and HS 220 , Google home is only able to recognise HS210 and not HS 220 , called support but was useless in the end was told will receive email on further trouble shooting, the email had the same step so not sure if this is the best method.

Alexa is able to recognise HS220, looks like a new firmware update is required.

@Carl_Solo1 I have talked to google Technical people and also chatted with TP Link technical people which TP Link is a total waste of time wasted three hours of my life chatting with people that don't know crap But it is definitely a firmware upgrade that Has to happen to the HS 220 switch because it's not compatible with Google Home I have other HS 220 Swiches with different firmware and they were perfectly fine the problem is they don't have an update for this one switch and it will not work until they get the firmware update which is BS in my opinion cheers
