Introduction

Tapo energy monitoring smart plug now supports choosing the currency unit for the electricity bills. The default electricity bill unit follows the country/region set in your Google account or phone system.

How to use the electric bill calculator?

1. Open Tapo App, enter the Device Page of the Tapo energy monitoring smart plug.
2. On the Energy Monitoring section, click Show More.
3. Find and click the edit button for the Monthly Bill under the Energy Used tab.
4. Choose a Bill Type: Singular Billing or Periodic Billing
5. Complete and save the settings.

Note: The new electricity rate will only be applied to the new-generated energy consumption (kWh) afterward, the previous data still use the old electricity rate.
