Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1.4

While viewing live or recorded footage the camera has developed a thin black line in an arc shape, this is the second camera now that this as happed to, is this an issue with the senosr on this model as my other tappo camers have been fine.

1. For the reported issue, you can try to reboot the camera and then check if it helps. If not, you can contact the retailer or local team to check if your camera is under warranty.
 

2. If you have registered the camera on our system but can't find it now, please ensure you have logged in to the system with the correct TP-Link account.

  @bob-one Having just checked my account non of my cameras are now registered for warrenty purposes???? they were before.

All cameras are back in the list, same login as yesterday as its auto filled, can't see an option to do a return, bought from the tapo store UK.

 

Done a reboot but still the same as expected, looks like a hardware failure. like the last camera.

Thank you for the updated information, in this situation, you can communicate with customer support to check if your camera is under warranty and get a replacement if it is.

  @bob-one I have a PUK code but i'm now stuck with what to do next as its a replacement for the replacement , the original warranty runs out in three weeks.

 

the line is slowly working its way inwards.

Hi,
If you have contacted customer support, you can send them this camera's S/N and the picture of the invoice for the original camera to judge whether your camera is under warranty.
