Tapo L630 keeps turning on
Tapo L630 keeps turning on
I have three L630 bulbs and one of them keeps turning on (after a delay) when turned off. I'm not sure what the delay is but if I go back to the bulb maybe an hour or so later it'll be on again.
I've factory reset the bulb and renamed it but the problem persists.
The other two bulbs (same model, hardware, firmware) are fine.
(I searched the forum before posting and found this similar topic Tapo L630 keeps on turning on - Smart Home Community (tp-link.com) but I don't have any schedules set and don't get the network error.)

Same here, 3 units have now shown the same behavior, in different rooms and mounts. Just seem to share the time they were bought. Has anyone received any response or solution to this issue?

I have about 20 L630 units. Now, after about 1 year they are starting to fail this way.
Suddenly, some of the units start 'rebooting' which translates in to blinking. It does not blink like when pairing as the color is the last it had.
The units are in different rooms, but they where bought and installed at the same time.
To solve it temporarily, I may cut the power and perform a real cold reboot, but after some hours/days, same unit will go in this cycle.
This has happened in 3 units in the last month.
Replacing the unit and reconfiguring it solves the issue.
If you need more info, just ask me, please.
Thank you

Do the light bulbs keep flashing non-stop? Or does it blink for seconds and then repeat it after a while?

@Wayne-TP
The blink is constant.
Will try the hard reset and report the outcome.

If the problem reoccurs after the factory reset, you may contact the local TP-Link support team to replace the device first.
Please record a video of the product issue if possible and send it to the local support team, or share it here (or send it to me via private message). This will assist us in analyzing the problem with the product.

The problem is just the same. In fact, it does not even seem to perform the factory reset as it will always blink the same after each power cut.

In the meanwhile, another unit started failing in another appliance.
Will contact local support. Thanks for your assistance.
