Model: Tapo L630
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have 2 x L630 Smartbulbs which appear to be working fine with a schedule to turn them on\off depending on the time of day. However, each time they switch on they default to a bright white colour at 50% brightness.

i change them to an off-white colour and reduce the brightness to 25%, however, next time they switch on they return to bright white and 50% brightness.

Both are running the latest firmware, and both bulb sockets are wired to a permanent non-switched live so I know they're not losing power when they're scheduled off..

Any ideas??

Check the light settings on the schedule, that's where you can decide what color and brightness of the light bulb when it is turned on by schedule.

Nice one! Sorted it... I had the automation to "control multiple devices", and that doesn't have a setting for changing the colour/brightness. Using Multiple Devices in the automation only provides for on/off I changed the automation to "control one device" and that gives the option to "Turn On and customize lighting"... I had to do this for each bulb (luckily I only have 2) and it works fine. Thanks for your help...
