Hi

 

We have 3 cameras, and with this one ( C520WS) we have a problem, every 30 sec after have Sound dropout, we re boot the camera and wi-fi also, but nothing happened.

and also the camera image is really bad. ( we have earlier models for the other 2 and they have much more better/ cleaner pictures.

 

 

So, my question is, what is the problem with this camera?

Hi,
1. To have better video quality, on the camera's Device Settings>Video & Display >Video Quality page, you can select 1080P or 2K QHD.
You can try to reboot the camera, ensure only you are streaming the camera, and then check if the camera's live view page will be clearer.

 

2. Thank you for the video clips.

For the sound dropout phenomenon, please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log, then send it to me for further analysis.
How to get the log of Tapo Camera?

Hi,
1) Can you provide a video showing the reported case?


2) Are you watching the camera's live feed and then finding the reported phenomenon or are you watching the camera's video recordings? If you are watching the video recordings, are they stored on the SD card or cloud server?


3) Please go to Tapo C520WS's Device Settings>Video & Display >Video Quality page to check what option you have selected.
