Model: Tapo C225
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.7

I wanted to activate the 940nm IR LED and found that there is no way plus the "Night Mode settings" is entirely missing on the Android app.

Hi,

On the Tapo C225, you can go to the Tapo app>camera's Device Settings>Video & Display>Night Vision Distance page, and select the Near option to activate the 940nm IR LED.

Best Regards

@Solla-topee Thanks but that option don't always appear in the app and I discovered that if I go to the HDR option and then exit it makes the "Night Vision Dostance" appears. I added a video that shows this behaviour.

Hi,
Usually, the Night Vision Distance feature won't disappear when the HDR is enabled.
Please help check if the IR LED is turned on when the camera works in the Night mode and the HDR is enabled.
I have sent a debug app to you via a private message, please help collect the app log after reproducing the steps in your provided video, and then send me the app log for further analysis.
Best Regards
