A reconfiguration is required for the smart plugs whenever there a credentials changes on the connected WiFi.

Reset the device first and add it back to the Tapo App.

Tips: If you have a large number of devices, it's recommended to set the same SSID and password on the new router as the old one. This way, you won't need to reconnect all devices. Most devices will automatically search for and connect to the remembered Wi-Fi network.
