Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.9

Hi,

Does anyone know why I cannot view motions detected on my indoor camera? I have an SD card in the camera so it records continuously but it doesn't show any windows with a picture of the motion and a time on the playback. I have to scroll back though the timeline to view snippets of video which isn't ideal.

I have the TC70 model and it does not have this problem. Is it because they're different models? They do the exact the same it just seems to be the playback section.

Thank you.

Hi,
The Tapo C200/TC70  V1&V2 does not support the feature to show motion-detected recordings under the timeline section, and the newer versions (such as V3&V4) do support this feature.
In your case, it should be the TC70's hardware is V3 or newer version thus you can see the motion-detected recordings under the timeline section.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share about if this feature can come to the product(Tapo C200/TC70  V1&V2) or when it might, I'll log the feature request and pass it along to the team to evaluate.

Best Regards
