Firmware Version: 1.1.13

Hi,

My camera doesn't detect people at night when it's on night mode. Sometimes neither works on day mode (or gives false alert when a car goes by)

it's good to mention that the camera is placed on the second floor looking down to the yard.

hope for a quick fix in a firmware update

because it's so annoying to keep the motion detection on instead.

Thanks

Hello   @Mohammadsaleh

Thank you for the feedback, for the concern, can you check if person is detected by camera and trigger the motion event.

1. Check if motion is detected by camera first:  try turning Alarm for cameras and see if Alarm goes off when a motion is detected?
If motion does not trigger the Alarm,  try to Confirm Motion Detection is 'ON', and  set up proper Activity zone & Sensitivity settings as instruction here
How to use motion detection function of my Tapo camera in Tapo app

Can you help provide some information to help look into that further:

1) the video clip showing the issue (use Tapo APP to manually the video and share video link here )

A photo of Playback timeline at that time showing the event is not triggerred

2) photo of motion detection settings, Activity Zone & Sensitivity

3)  Does Alarm go off when motion is detected

4) Mac address of camera( please share MAC by  private message)

5)  Tapo APP version

For ' gives false alert when a car goes by' Try disable other motion detection and only enable Person Detection and see this happen again, if still the same, can you also share the video clips, thank you.
