Once I have setup schedules in all my HS switches, I assume that they are recorded in the switch itself, and can live their life as

a standard programmable switch

I want to "disconnect" them from the lan?

I can do that by removing their MAC from approved devices, but they keep trying to reconnect and blinking .

can this be disabled (with re-enability)?

using for  restar&reset switches

(BTW I have not figured yet the difference between the two)

Thanks

You can't disconnect them from the LAN if you want to run a schedule, they need access to NTP servers to determine the time of day.
