Plug switching off during away time
My smart plugs keep switching off during away time. These are brand new plugs and this should not be happening.
Also, I switched a plug off partway through away time but it came back on again after a short time.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
I am thinking of returning the plugs as they are either faulty or the software is not good enough.

Check if you have created any automation that might turn on/off the smart plug, including the automation created in the Tapo app, and the third-party platforms like Alexa, Google Home.

Factory reset a smart plug and keep it configured for some time, and observe whether the same issues happen again. If the problems do not return, reconfigure the smart plug with a new device name and then monitor its performance.
