NIGHT VISION IS NOT WORKING
Hi
I Purchased Tapo C210 a month ago. It's working fine for time being.
Night vision is not working on Auto mode for past 4days.
So, reboot camera and all necessary steps. Still facing the issue.

Hi,
How do you judge the night vision is not working? If the camera does not switch to the Night mode automatically as it should, please send me a picture of the camera's Live View page when you think it should go into Night mode.
Best Regards

Hi,
Generally, the camera will automatically switch between Day/Night mode according to the ambient light conditions when the Video mode is set to Auto mode. From the picture you sent to us, the camera does not switch to Night mode automatically may be because the ambient light is enough and does not reach the threshold for switching modes, and the camera may switch to Night mode in darker conditions.

Hi, I have been using the C210 camera for a year. The same thing happened to me on firmware 1.4.4. Before the update, NightVision worked even with the mood lights on, but now it doesn't work at all. If manually switch to NightVision and then change to Auto, the NightVision mode is maintained, and it seems to return to normal mode in the morning.
It appears that the brightness conditions have changed, but I think the user should have been notified before the update to change this, or updated with an option that allows the user to change it themselves.
Link my cam snapshot to prove it
The mood light I use is one that gradually brightens and then darkens. As you can see, the night vision appears to be working well even though the mood light was working before update. There were no problems for a year.

Hi,
Thank you for the provided pictures. I'll consult the case with the relevant team and reply if there are any updates.
On your end, please try to adjust the camera's lens to don't include the moon light, and then check if the camera will switch to the night mode when "brightoff".
Best Regards
