T310 keeps reporting replace battery

A few days ago I got a low battery notification from my T310.
I replaced the battery with a new, quality cell but so far its still reporting low battery.
When will it realise there is a new battery installed, or is there a process whereby it can be manually reset?

It took 24 hours to accept the new battery.
I would suggest this is a vital piece of information missing from the instructions. So much time could have been saved with the addition of the sentence "The device can take up to 24 hours to register a new battery"
Perhaps this can be added to the guidance instructions on the app and in the FAQs for the device so as to assist users experiencing the same problem?

Tapo T310 requires a CR2450 button cell. What type of battery did you replace with?
How long has it been since you replaced the new battery? Please check again after 24 hours.
If you have another T310, try to swap their battery for testing. What's the version of your Tapo app?

Did you notice whether sensor's data is recorded normally when the error still exists?
When a sensor restarts and connects to the internet, its status should be updated immediately. My guess is that the sensor failed to connect to the cloud hence the new battery info did not report to the cloud in time.

I see, it is noted. We will pay attention to similar feedback and try to identify any common patterns.

........and add the vital information to the relevant FAQs with regards to the time it takes for the battery replacement to take effect?
You suggested that in your post above so I assume its correct information. Information that doesn't appear anywhere else.

This isn't a normal phenomenon. Device's status should be updated immediately after a reboot.

@SteveWex I am experiencing exactly the same issue. Also after replacing the battery I measured the voltage of the old battery and it was fine. The unit is only 6 months old.

What's the brand and model of the old and the new battery? Please share the purchase link here or some pictures of the battery, as well as the voltage test result.
Is your Tapo app and the T310's firmware updated? You may submit feedback in the app together with an app log to the support team, see if they can find anything from it. How to get the log of Tapo app
*Before sending the feedback (app log), enter T310's device page and try to reload it a few times, to ensure valid information is captured.
