How does the P110 behave when it protects

I have not been able to find the detailed information myself.
I would like to be explained what the P110 does, when there is an external peak load, and also, when there is too little current. What does the p110 do exactly in these situations?

Tapo P110 does not support surge protection. Similar to regular appliances, if the current in the circuit is too low, it may prevent devices from starting or operating correctly. For example, a light bulb may reduce brightness or cannot turn on at all in this case.

Are you referring to the Power Protection feature? When the power protection feature is enabled, the smart plug will be powered off when the connected power exceeds the set threshold.
If it is the surge protection feature, Tapo P110 does not support it.

For your problem, sorry for the wrong understanding. We would like to say that the plug will work fine if the current does not exceed 16A.

P110 is safe in every way they said and I got this link as well from support.

Sorry i did not get your point at the beginning, users generally ask for surge protection instead of this aspect.
There are optimized and upgraded hardware designs for Tapo P110 in regard of the abnormal current situations. Overcurrent protection is able to handle situations when the appliance has a spike current during activation or operation, in such cases, the smart plug will cut off the power supply once it detects a high current for a certain duration. Additionally, if the overcurrent protection fails, there is a fuse as a secondary layer of protection.
However, please note that Tapo smart plug does not support connecting inductive load devices, which can draw a high starting current that may exceed the smart plug’s maximum capacity. Long-term connection of unsupported appliances to the smart plug may lead to hardware failures.
Regarding your concerns about low current situations, could you clarify what specific worries you have? For example, the appliance will be turned off by the smart plug if the current is too little? >> As I understand, Tapo plug does not have such mechanism.

So what your saying is. If there is a external peak load coming from the power grid into the smartplug, the smartplug will cut off the power supply once it detects the external peak load coming from the power grid and if that does not work for some reason it would blow its fuse. Correct?
Could you specify how high and for how long the external peak load coming from the power grid has to be for the smartplug to turn off?
I have specified my worries. Tapo technical support are saying, as I copy pasted you. In case of too little current flowing through the circuit the plug ensures that the connected device receives the required power to operate efficiently. But your saying thats a lie. Thats conserning!
Why is it so difficult to explain clearly, how the smartplug operates when theres detected either a external peak load coming from the power grid or too little current coming from the power grid.
Its vital protection functions that I would believe TAPO smartplugs are able to perform.
