Poor audio quality on C225
Hello
Recently i purchased a Tapo C225 camera.
The audio quality is poor, so I can't hear conversations clearly, lots of distortion and muffled sound.
The camera is connected to a very fast wifi, so it is not a bandwidth problem, the same problem I have with SD recordings.
Also no obstructions covering the microphone and speaker openings on the camera, or placing it in enclosed spaces or near surfaces that may reflect sound
Also i have another camera from another brand which is an old model (more than 4 years old) which the sound is better than C225.
I think the issue of the new cameras is caused by the noise cancellation.
I read from another posts that other users solved this issue with another firmware.
Please advise.

A new firmware has been pushed to your camera, you can update it via the Tapo app and check if it helps.

Hi, I have exactly the same issue here. Last week I first bought a C220, and because of unusable audio quality I bought a C225 which has the same issue. Could you please push the corrected firmware to my C225 too? Thank you.

Hi! Thank you very much for your quick response. Unfortunately, when trying to update to the new firmware "1.1.0 Build 241213 Rel.56316n" with the app, after 1 to 2 minutes the C225 rotates, and after that the app says that the update failed and that i should try again later. I tried it several times.

Please try to reboot your router, when it's working, reboot the camera, and then check if you can update the camera successfully.

@Solla-topee Hi, rebooting the router didn't help, tried it several times. Also tried manual and automatic update a few times, they show the same error message that updating has failed.
As updating the brand new C225 with the newest stock firmware worked immediately the first time I tried, I think that there is an issue with the firmware version you try to push on my device.

Hi,
It seems you have updated the firmware successfully on your Tapo C225. Please go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page to check if your firmware is the new one.
